Backups on a machine in your practice are your responsibility. We set them up with you and show you how to prove one works.
The tablet and printer package
Praxia runs on whatever you already have. If you would rather not think about it, we supply the hardware with it: a tablet and a portable printer, set up before they reach you — Praxia installed, signed in, your letterhead loaded, and the printer tested on a real prescription.
- The tablet is what you carry between rooms, and what the patient sees when you turn it round
- The printer puts a prescription, a certificate or a receipt in the patient’s hand at the desk, with no computer in the room
- Both delivered, set up and supported with the rest of it — one person to call, not three
- Supplied at cost plus setup, and quoted with everything else
Hardware prices follow the retail price of the day and are confirmed before anything is ordered. If you already have a tablet that works, you do not need this.

Your lists, yours to change
Diagnoses, medicines, consultation forms, appointment types, recalls. Edit them in the browser without waiting for us.
It works without a signal
A consultation written with no connection is kept on the device and syncs when it returns. Nothing is lost quietly.
Printing on your letterhead
Prescriptions, certificates, referrals and insurance invoices, all reprinted exactly as issued — same dates, same number.
Where your patients’ records live
Hosted practices run in a data centre in Mauritius. Bought outright, the records never leave the machine in your practice. Either way the practice is the data controller and Praxia is the processor, and the Data Protection Act 2017 paperwork comes with it.
